Lusive Decor operates as a premier custom architectural and decorative lighting manufacturer serving global hospitality groups, interior architecture practices, and commercial contract specifiers. The following legal policies, compliance standards, intellectual property terms, and warranty guidelines govern all engineering services, fixture production, and international procurement orders.
1. Proprietary Rights & Custom Engineering IP
All custom lighting concepts, shop drawings, 3D parametric renderings, photometric profiles, and engineering schematics produced by Lusive Decor remain the exclusive intellectual property of Lusive Decor unless explicit written assignment of IP rights is executed in a contract agreement.
Design Intent & NDA Confidentiality
We respect client intellectual property. Concept drawings, reflected ceiling plans (RCPs), and architectural spec sheets submitted by external design firms, hotel operators, or procurement agents are treated with strict confidentiality. Material provided to us is utilized strictly for structural feasibility evaluation, engineering calculations, cost estimation, and authorized custom fabrication.
Designs created specifically for custom hospitality projects will not be reproduced or reissued for third-party commercial applications without prior authorization from the original specifier.
2. Compliance, Safety Certifications & Engineering Standards
To ensure total reliability and seamless field inspection in commercial real estate, every fixture engineered in our workshop complies with international electrical and structural building codes.
- UL / ETL Listing: Fixtures intended for North America are manufactured and evaluated under UL 1598 (Luminaires), UL 153 (Portable Luminaires), and CSA C22.2 No. 250.0 safety standards.
- International Directives: Export orders bound for the European Union, United Kingdom, Middle East, and Asia-Pacific are built to CE, UKCA, CB Scheme, and SASO compliance requirements upon request.
- Ingress & Environmental Protection: Damp-location, wet-location, Title 24 energy standards, and marine-grade protective finishes are engineered into fixture specifications during initial shop drawing review.
- Seismic & Structural Engineering: Large-scale ceiling chandeliers and atrium light installations include certified structural mounting calculations, cable safety backups, and winch pocket detailing.
3. Order Terms, Submittal Approvals & Lead Times
Commercial contract manufacturing orders are executed under formal submittal procedures to eliminate discrepancies between design intent and final installation.
Shop Drawing & Finish Sample Sign-Off
Production commences only upon receipt of written sign-off approval on complete dimensioned shop drawings, lamping specs, electrical voltage requirements, and physical finish control samples. Modifications requested after shop drawing approval may affect lead times and require structural or electrical engineering adjust fees.
Manufacturing Timelines
Standard custom contract manufacturing timelines range from 10 to 14 weeks following final submittal sign-off and receipt of deposit payment. Physical mock-up samples for room-program reviews or ballroom features are generally completed within 3 to 4 weeks for on-site evaluation.
4. Packaging, Global Freight & Risk of Loss
All finished luminaires undergo rigorous quality inspection and multi-stage testing prior to packaging. Fixtures are packed into custom-built, ISPM-15 certified timber export crates engineered with shock-absorbing foam inserts and itemized installation labels matching room schedules.
Unless contractually specified under DAP or DDP terms, shipments operate under FOB Factory or EXW shipping terms. Risk of damage or loss transfers to the buyer upon handover to the carrier. Freight consignments must be inspected immediately upon delivery, and any outer crate damage must be documented on the bill of lading prior to acceptance.
5. Commercial Warranty & After-Sales Support
Lusive Decor guarantees that all custom-fabricated lighting fixtures will be free from structural defects in materials and craftsmanship under normal operational conditions.
- Housing & Mechanical Assemblies: Warranted for three (3) years from the date of shipment against mechanical failure or finish degradation beyond natural patina aging.
- Electrical & LED Components: Integrated LED modules, electronic ballasts, and 0-10V/DALI dimming drivers carry standard manufacturer warranties ranging from 3 to 5 years.
- Archival Spare Parts: Every custom project is archived with digital CAD records, metal tooling profiles, and finish chemical recipes to guarantee exact matching replacement glass or components years after project completion.
